The jester dancing through the night
Grinning at his tricks and lies
Dressed in silken jester wear
Though for looks he doesn't care
His wand in hand, trick up his sleeve
He'll play his show and then he'll leave

He'll play a fool so gracefully
Yet tricking you so tastefully
Bells and whistles all in place
Coy smile adorned on his face
He'll leave you thinking, mystified
Curiosity unsatisfied

The jest is singing for the queen
Though his quotes are rather mean
He hops and skips around the room
Starts to tango with a broom
And as your bliss is hiding him
He can go about his whim

A spin of his ankle
A leap in the air
Making all the
Monarchs stare

With a flash of light he leaves them be
Before they recall their misery
This human-form hyperbole
Has packed its bags and given glee
To play on peasants, prey on kings
His legend only he shall sing
